SUMMER DREAM SKIING WITH NASTC
August 15 – 22

NASTC is the only advanced ski school of its kind. Developed by Chris and Jenny Fellows in 1994. NASTC has helped improve the skiing and increase the adventure of thousands of skiers in Chile and abroad. NASTC offers their trademark "all conditions all terrain" course at 18 resorts around the world. This will be NASTC's 16th season at Portillo NASTC is for intermediates and up who want more than a "quick fix," who want to truly get off that intermediate or advanced plateau. Whether you are stuck on the blue runs or have mastered the entire mountain, NASTC has a course to help you ski better. You can develop your ski sports skills in Chile. At NASTC it’s about the whole picture: technique, fitness, and equipment. We will help you dial in a system addressing all 3 components, and you'll see the difference! Our staff is comprised of the top ski instructors in the US, the members of the PSIA Demonstration Teams, which means they are the teachers of teachers. Your skiing will improve in Chile in a safe, fun, and highly professional way under their watchful eyes. This is the ultimate ski vacation: a superb mountain, fun-loving people, delicious food, fine wine and a beautiful hotel. You are sure to improve, make new friends, and enjoy yourself. NASTC's All Conditions Adventure Skiing Camp August 15-22:

Portillo has always been NASTC's summer home and this will be our 16th season in Chile! The Portillo experience is unlike any other skiing experience. It is a blend of all the great elements of European and American skiing experiences with a South American accent. The beauty of the Andes and the brilliant blue sky almost hypnotizes you into a state of complete serenity. The NASTC group combines high end instruction and skiing with the adventurous luxury of Portillo. We meet in the dining room every morning for a delicious breakfast feast and then ski from 9am to 4pm everyday with a midday break for lunch. Afternoons are filled with tech talks and video reviews and the evenings are spent in much laughter over dinner and other evening activities.

A day in life with NASTC at Portillo:

7:30am - Stretching/Yoga.
8:30am - Delicious big breakfast in the dining room.
9:00am-12:30pm - Ski in groups of 6 or fewer with your trainer (same all week) exploring everything Portillo has to offer!
12:30-1:30pm - Four course lunch with your group
1:30-4:00pm - Back on the hill for more individual coaching.
2:00pm - Shoot Video
4:30pm - Wrap it up.
5:30-6:30 Techtalk/Review Video in the movie theatre. (see yourself bigger than life!)
6:30-8:30pm - Multiple Options: Naps, team basketball or soccer, meet at the bar for drinks, ping pong tournaments, hot tubbing, workout in the gym, enjoy a massage or sauna session or hang out in the game room.
8:30pm - Four course dinner with fine wine.
10:00pm - Bedtime or enjoy the bar and disco nightlife of Portillo.

NEW! NASTC's Women's Camp:

For the first time ever we will be offering a specialized instructional camp just for women August 15-22. This specialized camp will take place in conjunction with the traditional NASTC camp, however ladies will have their own separate training group and female instructor.

NASTC's Kids Camp:

For the first time NASTC is offering a kids' freeskiing/race training camp for ages 8-14. For years our clients have requested we run one like this so that they can enjoy summer skiing in Portillo WITH their families. What a great way to spend one of the last weeks before school starts! Adventure skiing and race training in the Andes! Kids will be placed in ability-appropriate small groups with their own coach. They will ski from 9-12, break for lunch with parents, ski 1-3:30, and then enjoy all the hotel has to offer (a bit like being on a cruise ship complete with long lists of fun kids' activities posted daily!) A bit of sight seeing in Santiago is a fitting end to the cultural experience. Join us this year for a skiing experience you will never forget. Portillo is everyone's paradise!

NASTC’s course costs $2,295* and includes the following:

• 6 days instruction in small groups (6-1 ratio, no more than 24 total) led by PSIA Demonstration Team members.
