International applicants need a valid residency visa (RUT) to be able to work at Portillo. The Portillo Ski School is the only department allowed to hire foreign applicants. As an instructor you must be certified and fully bilingual (English & Spanish).

How can I work for Portillo?

Although most of the jobs at Portillo are occupied by Chileans, we do hire a handful of foreigners each season, mainly in our ski school and reception departments (it is necessary to speak Spanish fluently in all departments).

Due to the large quantity of emails we receive, we will only be able to reply to those persons who qualify for an interview.
