The Portillo Ski School Kids Camp for children 4 to 6 years old operates Sunday through Friday from 10:30-12:00 (meeting time 10:15) and from 15:00-16:30 (meeting time 14:45).
Our passionate team of dedicated Kids Camp instructors will introduce new young skiers to the sport and will teach more advanced skills to the younger skiers who have prior experience.
Kids Camp lessons may be purchased for morning only, afternoon only, or both morning and afternoon. Lunch is not included and parents must pick up their children promptly at 12:00 and/or 4:30.
Children ages 7 and older are welcome to join our group and/or private lessons for older children.
3 year-olds may take a specially priced private lesson to introduce them to skiing and have fun on the slopes

The Portillo Ski and Snowboard school offers private lessons every day for skiers and snowboarders of all levels, ages 3 and older. Our passionate and knowledgeable instructors will work with you to tailor classes specifically to meet your goals.
Private classes are also available as guiding sessions for those who are more interested in learning Portillo’s terrain than instruction. Private classes are available during the following times, depending on availability:
Sunday – Friday
9:00 – 10:00 am
12:00 – 1:00 pm
1:00 – 2:00 pm
2:00 – 3:00 pm
Saturday
9:00 – 17:00 pm
*Depending on instructor availability, we can also offer private lessons at other times, including full days.

Andes Magico Foundation (www.andesmagico.com) was created in Ski Portillo in 1999 as a result of a rehabilitation program for disabled children and youth with limited resources.
Our sister foundation’s top concern is shown in the implementation of new ideas and activities that improve the quality of life for people with special needs.
Through interactive workshops in an outdoor setting, the commitment is to ensure equal opportunities for all without distinction, and the opportunity to enjoy contact with nature and various outdoor activities without discrimination.
We encourage their participation in our programs in Portillo and enjoy the opportunity to share the joy of these new and rich experiences.
Our ski instructors are capable to teach in the following areas:
- Blind or limited vision.
- Three track: disabled in one leg.
- Four track: disabled in both legs but can stand with assistance.
- Bi-ski: disabled in the legs and arms.
- Mono-ski: disability of the legs but with strength in the upper part of the body.
- Stand up: other disabilities for those who can stand up.
